Installation views of "Bougainvillea: An Exploration of Adornment” at Faena Art Project Room.

In collaboration with Miami artist Cornelius Tulloch, I handmade four different intricately ornamented masks or headpieces. For the exhibition, Cornelius photographed these masks and the photos are on view alongside the physical headpieces.

The works explore contemporary Caribbean culture through the lens of dancehall, Jamaican Junkanoo, and masquerade.
